Sick. Just plain sick.

I woke up this morning at 5:30AM to get ready for the much anticipated (by me) swim practice.

Crap.on.toast. I am sick.

Can you believe this? I am SICK!

I was coughing, my throat is sore, my nose is all sorts of stuffed... and I have this pressure building up in my head. There is no way tht I can be submerged in H2O!

So I did the next best thing. Downed some cold meds and hit the sack for another 4 hours.

I am disappointed that I had to miss the swim practice. I really wanted to meet everyone, and well I honestly was excited for it despite all the nerves.

Today's revised schedule looks a little like sleep, shopping with preggers chic for maternity clothes (awwww!), and a belated-halloween party tonight at one of Mike's friends' house.

I am going to have to lay low this weekend so I can be all better for next week when I start going to a coached swim.

I wanted to say thank you for the kind words on my rant yesterday. It is sad when your logical mind sees things clearly, but your emotionl mind tries to obstruct the view.

I guess that emotional scarring is the filter through which I have been looking. Sort of like rose tinted glasses... only bigger. ;)

Have a good one everyone! I hope to be back to the world of the living shortly... this cough is killing me over here!

That totally blows, I can totally empathize with you, all my ITB issues were followed by....drum roll please....the stomach flu and then...wait for it...poor air quality due to the CA wildfires!

Some retail therapy will brighten up your day - hey how about some new goggles, I always wear mine around the shop first just to make sure they're comfortable first.

Get well soon.

I hope you feel better, Jenn. Take care of yourself. You made a smart move to skip the swim today.

Stage fright?

There was about four new people there today.

Ah, skip the retail therapy and take up day trading, and eBay!

Hope you're feeling better!

I am actually feeling worse today.

I guess it is best tht I get sick now as opposed to right before a race.

Oh, don't worry, if you race enough you'll get sick before one.

I Hope you're feeling better, especially since you went to a party (oh wow, I sound like a mom). Take care of yourself.
