Then I rock out at quite possibly my most favorite race of the year. The one I run even when I haven't run in months (what? Can you say 2005?) I don't get this excited for the CRIM even!
SO why am I so excited? Well aside from a wonderful 12 miles so far this week, and 10 more on tap this weekend... After the Freep I will not slow down. I have another half in January, one in May, two next October, and one in December. I am on a roll.
I am going to knock out 9 states by the end of 2007 (I have 4 already). Then the other 16 will follow. I am even throughing in a race in Mexico for fun.
I say all of this, and hold it to be true, because I am ready. I am more mentally ready than I have ever been... blah blah blah you already know this.
Well... off to update my mileage and then sign off.
If anyone has any ideas what half marathons there are out there, please let me know! I am looking for interesting halfs! Character and charm is a must. I like tag lines too. The Flying Pig has to be one of my top half's because of the oink factor. There is a Cowtown half I would like to do too. I mean come on! Cows! Pigs! I love running!
