I broke in my new Mizuno Waverider 9s Monday in the rain! They got muddy andsloshed with goose poo. These things are keepers! So it is with greatest sorrow that I must cast off my other 3 pairs of
shoes.
RIP my NB shoes. You were a bit too small for any real distances I traveled, but light enough for 5ks. You provided me with many miles of road, and a few PBs along the way. Without you the journey
would not have been so sweet...
RIP my dear Asics Gels. You actually were the first pair of running shoes I bought back in 2003. You endured the hills, the roads, the tough terrain all the while just there along for the ride. An
awesome pair of training shoes you were. The journey would not have started if it were not for you.
RIP my Brooks. You just were not meant for me afterall. My arches are high but alas you were built for stability. Being with you puts more strain on me. Off to donation for you.
A moment of silence for the running shoes of past. Ok, now on to the future!
